I’m currently laying on the sand outside of Jennette’s Pier of the Outer Banks and the view is fantastic! So happy to be here right now enjoying the beautiful blue skies of the Carolinas and listening to the waves come in. How nice…and even though I love this I am thinking about my crafts and pillows. Most of all, Caydi!!!! Maybe it’s time to soon come home.

I have some of my ideas and creations I’d like to try and finish and I guess knowing it is not done, bothers me >_< So once I settle down I need to get busy! Hopefully. 😡

There are also major changes to my work schedule and that may take time to get adjusted to but I hope in the long run does better for me.

When I get back, I will also be updating my HPC's photos on Etsy. 🙂 Yay.

See you soon!

Busy Bee

There are so many things going on right now, upcoming trips and work…limited time that I am getting sad. >.< My trip is this week and I am excited but at the same time sad because I’m afraid I won’t have Caydi’s June artwork done before the end of the month. T_____T *Tears* I like to have things done on time and as of right now I feel like a failure! This vacation is much-needed however and I will try to clear my mind and have some fun with my sisters and Mom. I will also be meeting my niece and nephew for the first time so it will be great! Oh! I almost forgot, my Etsy Shop is also on Vacation Mode. ^_^

Hope all is well WordPressers, will be back before I know it!

Hello Kitty

Pillow number 4 of 6, Hello Kitty!!!! This pillow will be going across the country soon to reach a niece of mine. I hope she loves it!

I was a bit nervous about making Hello Kitty due to the fact that Hello Kitty is so popular and who doesn’t know her?!  Any Hello Kitty fan can easily pick her out from the crowd and knowing this, I was afraid of making a mistake with her eyes and nose placement. The smallest misplacement could totally throw her off. Oh yeahhhh the stress was on. >=O However I think the final came out pretty good. I was very pleased with the finish pillow.

I had Google an image of Hello Kitty and used it as my layout. I used a combination of minky, velvet and felt fabric to finish the pillow. I also used my new Gingher scissor and serger that the Hubbie had got me this past week. The scissor is a bit heavy and uncomfortable but very sharp and good for corners. The serger as of now intimidates me because I’ve not learn how to thread it completely yet. O_O It will take some time. 🙂

Later on today I will be working on pillow 5. What do you think of the final pillow? 🙂
